ALERT! - Samsung Galaxy S3 Vulnerable to Factory Reset - UPDATE

As you may very well be aware, you can enter certain codes (USSD codes) into the dialer on your Galaxy S3 to access "hidden" information or features. What has just been revealed though, is that the Factory Reset code can be triggered directly by a web link or QR code. Not to scare monger or anything, but clicking the wrong link or reading the wrong QR code with your Galaxy S3 could wipe it clean and reset it. Solution? Installing and using a 3rd party browser, like Chrome or Dolphin, instead of the built in browser should solve the problem. Hit the More link for the demo video.
UPDATE: Samsung says this issue has been resolved in a firmware update, so just make sure you've updated your phone through Kies or via the settings on your phone.
Galaxy S3 Gets a Touch of Pink

You're no doubt aware of all the colours that Samsung recently announced. Well, that wasn't the end of it. Samsung has now revealed they will be releasing a pink Galaxy S3. Hold on to your bonnets though, as it will only be available in Korea for the time being. I'm not entirely sure what 'natural' material they'll be using to describe this colour. What do you think.
I Don't Think You're Ready For This Jelly - but Poland is

Those lucky so and so Polish. They've got the first official Jelly Bean update available over the air. What's that? It means all you need is your internet connection to upgrade your Galaxy S3. Here's hoping the UK gets the new update soon. We can expect to see a buttery smooth interface, Google Now, and apparently there are some Samsung bits and pieces from the Galaxy Note II that will also be available. Jelly bean nom nom.
Galaxy S3 NFC Put To Use... Finally (UK)

Finally, it's about time! Up until now the NFC chip in my phone has been mostly sitting idly, apart from that one time I transferred a picture from my phone to another Galaxy S3 using S Beam. Orange and Barclaycard have teamed up to provide Quick Tap, a form of contactless payment. From what I can tell, you can use any UK MasterCard or Visa credit/debit card. Galaxy S3 Tastes The Rainbow

If the blue and white versions of Samsung's Galaxy S3 were not to your liking and you've been holding out until something more fashionable was available, your wait may be nearing an end. The Galaxy S3 will be appearing in Amber Brown, Garnet Red, Sapphire Black and Titanium Grey. Of course the availability of each colour will depend on your carrier.
