Galaxy S3 Finally Revealed

After months of waiting, the Samsung Galaxy S3 has finally been revealed. I didn't really know what to expect, and with so much hype my expectations were very high. Now it's going to take some time to let the reality sync-in. I don't know whether I'm more excited, or disappointed. The Samsung Mobile Unpacked event could have been a lot better. Considering that the Galaxy S3 is supposed to be a BIG step forward, I feel Samsung should have focussed on the technology rather than spending so much time on software. I kept waiting for that "wow" show-stopper moment where the audience all says, "ah" and starts murmuring amongst themselves.
If anything, I think the no-shutter-lag camera is what most impressed me, along with the multiple shot options. I think I do just need time to adjust to the reality though, as I'm already more interested in the Galaxy S3 today than I was yesterday after watching Samsung's unpacked event.
You can do as I've done and pre-order the Galaxy S3 (in the UK) here, or come back soon to check out our best contract recommendations.
Galaxy S3 Coming in Blue and White

Above is what is reportedly a leaked screen shot of the Carphone Warehouse inventory screen. As you can see it clearly shows that the Galaxy S3 will indeed be available in both blue and white, as was suggested by Samsung's recent promotional images. As with previous "blue" devices, the Galaxy S3 will probably be such a dark blue that it's almost black except under certain lighting. However, it would be interesting if Samsung made the Galaxy's colour pop a bit more.
Galaxy S3 Coming to Vodafone UK - Update and O2

That didn't take long. The Galaxy S3 moniker has only just become official, thanks to the Samsung mobile Unpacked 2012 app we know that Samsung is indeed carrying on the Galaxy S line with the Samung Galaxy S3. Vodafone has already thrown it's hat into the ring to make sure we all know where to get the new Galaxy. I expect we'll see other carriers begin to pimp this phone soon too. The big reveal is on the 3rd of May don't forget!
Update: O2 says the Samsung Galaxy S3 will be coming to their network too.
Samsung Exynos 4 Quad for Galaxy S3

Confirmed, Samsung's Galaxy S3 will use their new Exynos 4 Quad processor. "Experience a Powerful, yet Power-efficient Quad core Performance for Life on-the-go". The Galaxy S2 had the Dual chip so presumably this quad means twice the power. It's supposed to use 20% less power too so that should be good news for our battery life.
Another S3 Leaked In Case of Mystery

Yet another leaked image of the Samsung Galaxy S3 has appeared online. The phone in question is still sporting some casing designed to conceal the Galaxy S3's final design. This feels a bit more legit to me. You'll notice that it looks the same as this leak from last week some time, except for the highly reflective screen which could just be down to lighting (and the tester's greasy fingers - put down that pizza). There is still a home button as was confirmed some days ago too. The screen has a strong curve to the corners which might just the start of the Galaxy's curves. I'm paraphrasing but Samsung has mentioned things about this phone fitting naturally into your hand. MAYBE the back of the phone is curved as well, although I hope they haven't sacrificed tech to achieve it.
Update: More images of the leaked phone here.
