Direct Dial Issue - Calling Wrong Contact
I can't say I've experienced this problem myself but some readers have been asking about this issue with the Galaxy S3's Direct Dial function. It doesn't always call the person whose contact details are open, or whose message is being read. Some people are even reporting that Direct Dial just calls one specific number each time. The only "solution" found so far is rebooting, which seems to clear some sort of cache. That's certainly not practical, so hopefully Sammy is aware of this issue and will address it in their next update. Have you experienced this problem or found a solution? Let us know below!
Some extra info here is that Dave's number is in my call log. Since it's been in the log it's the only number that gets called when I lift the phone to my head, even though I make sure I have the correct contact card showing before I lift the phone. There's Marta's pretty face looking out at me.. then I hear Dave's voice - not a good combo let me tell you!!
Every time I make a call now I'm having to quadruple check that the right person is actually being called :(
